We're expecting three new iPhone 11 smartphones, plus, maybe, the Apple Watch 5 and Apple HomePod 2, along with a wildcard product - possibly a Global Positioning System tracker - and we're also expecting to learn when iOS 13 and iPadOS will become available to the public.
Hundreds of thousands of people will tune in to the live event to get a glimpse of the new phone.
As it does with every event, Apple will share the keynote both on its site, its YouTube page, and even in its Apple Keynotes video podcast cataloging the company's filmed announcements.
The phones also won't be able to switch to USB-C, according to Kuo's report, a copy of which was obtained by 9to5Mac. That report talked up a lot of features such as camera improvements, multi-angle Face ID and new colors, but to me, the biggest addition was the news that some new iPhone models would feature shatter-resistance technology. However, Apple is likely to deliver 5G handsets later in 2020, which will pick up iOS volumes slightly as it will have an edge over other vendors with a better understanding of 5G market conditions for a much more planned launch.
Commenting on the alleged product Jeff Pu, a tech analyst for GF Securities, told Nikkei: "The cheaper iPhone SE could serve as a sales momentum kicker the first half next year, if the new premium iPhones do not perform well in the coming months".
