It will be available to order from 10 September, starting at $399/£399 for the Global Positioning System only model and from $499/£499 for the Global Positioning System and Cellular model. Apple's new smartwatch has been unveiled to the world, and it's coming soon.

Meanwhile, the Apple Watch Series 3 isn't going anywhere and will be available for just $199. The current design has arguably been polished to perfection, so the Series 5 doesn't have many surprises in this regard, but the feature set gives ample room for expansion, and that's where Apple's new smartwatch delivers in spades!

The Apple Watch Series 5 also ships with a built-in compass which should make navigation a lot more convenient.

Apple has officially launched the Apple Watch Series 5 with a number of new features.

It's no surprise that Apple announced the next iteration of its Apple Watch today. Both models can be ordered right now from apple.com and will be available in stores starting September 20 in the USA and 38 other countries and regions for the GPS-only version. The new titanium Watches start at $799 and that covetable white ceramic version starts at $1,299. These come in either a natural or space black finish. Apple didn't say how much these bad boys will cost in the presentation, but it's likely they'll cost much more than base models.

It comes in silver, gold, and space grey, with a 100 percent recycled aluminium casing.

Furthermore, the editor allows you to add checklists, agenda items, or jot down some pointers - all alongside browsing the Web. For those of you who are not fans of light themes, it's worth noting that Vivaldi Browser does support dark mode.

Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS) starts at Rs. 40,900, while the Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS + Cellular) starts at Rs. 49,900.

APPLE HAS REVEALED the Apple Watch Series 5, a smartwatch that comes with an always-on display, and - wait for it - a frickin' compass for all you wannabe Bear Grylls types. That's cool and all, though the Apple Watch still doesn't have a dedicated watch face store like most of its competitors. Just like with India, the Apple Watch Series 3 price in the U.S. has also been dropped, with the GPS model starting at $199 (roughly Rs. 14,300) and the GPS + Cellular model starting at $299 (roughly Rs. 21,500). The workout app has also been tweaked to continuously show stats and exercise data.

For added personal safety while travelling, users with cellular models of Apple Watch Series 5 can now complete worldwide calls to emergency services, regardless of where the device was originally purchased or if the cellular plan has been activated.

The Apple Watch 5 has improved the safety features in the watch with fall detection, emergency SOS, and Medical ID.
