Apple unveils iPhone 11

Along with the iPhone Pro and and Pro Max, Apple just officially announced a more budget-friendly 2019 device - the iPhone 11. The maker stated in the phone's unveiling that the iPhone 11 Pro has four more hours battery life than the iPhone XS, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max lasts five hours more than the iPhone XS Max.

Lastly, Apple announced two new subscription services: games and TV.

'We think the lower iPhone 11 price point and trade-in program will help promote upgrades, specifically in China, while the Apple Arcade and TV+ offerings will hep accelerate services growth, ' said CFRA analyst Angelo Zino. While Apple once tested the upper limits of what consumers would pay for a phone, it is now giving ground on prices, even making older models available at significant discounts to the latest technology.

There's also a new selfie camera.

- Slow-motion video. The phone's front-facing camera is now capable of capturing 4K video at 60 frames per second.

Apple unveiled its iPhone 11 models on September 10, 2019 and cut its entry price to USD699.

Apple also introduced an iPhone 11 Pro and larger-screened iPhone 11 Pro Max that will have starting prices of USD999 and USD1,099 respectively when they are available on September 20. This had been rumoured to be dropped at the last minute before the unveiling as Apple couldn't get it to work as expected, so it's no-show came a bit of blow.

It will undercut Disney's streaming service too, which will also be released in November.

Apple TV+ will arrive about two weeks before a new Disney+ streaming television service. We've seen the three trailers Apple has shown and we got to see the Jason Momoa series called See that's also coming.

A previous estimate put the iPhone XS battery at 2,658mAh, and rumors pegged the new handset at 15% larger (or more). The iPhone 11 with dual-camera configuration will be available in three storage variants, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

Interestingly, Apple has put both its games and TV subscriptions at the sub-market price of $4.99 a month. He added however that adding more content to its library will be key to the success of the service in India.

Arcade will have more than 100 exclusive titles for play on Apple's array of hardware. The two new Pro iPhones remain easy to hold, manage and don't run the risk of slipping out of your hands.

But at least the iPhone 11 is slightly cheaper - in the United States, the base 64GB model is now $699, down from the iPhone XR's $749 of previous year.

However, unlike Apple TV+, Disney Plus has not yet released a United Kingdom launch date and is expected at some point in 2020.
