So far no one who uses a regulated vaping device as part of New York's medical marijuana program have reported problems. Kansas does not have detailed information on what types of products that were used by the deceased.

The CDC recommends that people who use e-cigarette products should not buy these products "off the street" and should not modify e-cigarette products or add any substances that are not intended by the manufacturer.
