Here's a compilation of everything we know so far about Jio Fiber commercial launch.
Telecom operator Reliance Jio is likely to provide free set top box with its every broadband connection to woo direct-to-home and cable TV customers, according to a source privy to the development. If you are a Jio user, you can also register from the MyJio app. Reliance Jio is also bundling free landline calls, complimentary access to OTT platforms, and free set-top-box as part of its introductory offers for Reliance Jio Fiber. The base plan offers 100Mbps speed and 100GB data with free voice calls, TV video calling and conferencing.
You need to log on to https://gigafiber.jio.com/registration website. Besides, under the Reliance JioFiber welcome offer, you will get a free HD/4K smart TV along with 4K set-top box. However, there is no information on how it would function since TVs don't come with in-built cameras. We can expect this box to run graphics-intensive games like Federation Internationale de Football Association 19 which was demonstrated at the launch event.
