Samsung shares details on the Galaxy Fold software experience

Samsung is close to re-launching its first foldable smartphone in the revised Galaxy Fold in the coming weeks, and now news is breaking that the company worked with Google on foldable apps for the Galaxy Fold.

The Galaxy A50s is also expected to launch in India very soon and their teaser has confirmed that it will support Samsung Pay. Whereas, the Galaxy A30s will be available for Rs 16,999 for 4/64GB variant. The Galaxy A50s is priced at ₹24,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant while the Galaxy A30s has a price tag of ₹22,999 for the 4GB/128GB model.

Samsung will sell the Galaxy Fold 5G in Korea for about $1,990 with 12GB of RAM and half a terabyte of storage.

"To recap, the Galaxy A50s features a 6.4" Full HD+ Super AMOLED display as the current A50 and it appears to run on the same Exynos 9610 Octa-Core chipset.

The Galaxy A50s has a triple camera set up with a 48MP primary camera, 8MP Ultra-Wide camera, with a 123° viewing angle imitating human sight and a 5MP Live Focus lens.

Galaxy A50s comes with an in-display sensor. The selfie camera has been upgraded too from a 25MP to 32MP. The devices will be available starting September 11, across offline channel, Samsung Opera House, Samsung e-shop and leading online portals.

When you register a Windows 10 PC with the app and are using a LAN connection, you'll even be able to wake it via Play Galaxy Link.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type C port and 3.5mm audio jack.

Both smartphones pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging and run Android 9.0 Pie OS out-of-the-box. The successors to the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 are the A30s and A50s which are targeted towards millennials and come packed with premium camera features like night mode, Samsung Pay and Game Booster, to name a few. Or rather, the camera housing where the three rear-facing sensors and LED flash reside is uncommonly large. Equipped with a powerful 4,000mAh battery and a 15W fast charging technology, the smartphone is for those who are on-the-go all the time.
