Samsung, traditionally, has been one of the last phone makers to release significant Android updates - like going from Android 9 Pie to Android 10 - but it looks like that's about to change. We know a lot of people are excited about this release, and some of you have been wondering about Samsung's more recent Galaxy Note 10 flagship series.

The video above was uploaded by Samsung itself, and in it the company explains why there's the need for a periscope camera, as well as why there's impossible to have over five times optical zoom on a phone. Folded cameras make it possible for smartphone OEMs to "hide" the camera lens by inserting it sideways in order to make the camera module less prominent, says Thelec.

It seems logical to incorporate the new camera system into the Galaxy S11 because, according to many authorities, the S-series needs to be upgraded.

Essential Teases Wild New Design for Its Next Phone
However, there's no news about the phone's launch date and the design of the lastest Essential phone 2 is yet to be finalized. The next Essential product is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 and is now being developed on top of Android 10.

For the sake of clarity, the Galaxy S10 family will include the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, and S10e.

As per a new report by SamMobile, the Galaxy S11 will inaugurate in the third week of February. A periscope-style camera will certainly allow the phone to capture great telephoto images. On top of that, Samsung's only offering the beta for unlocked, Sprint, and T-Mobile variants of the above phones. Samsung might or might not take as long this time around, but it's the best estimate we have until the company officially reveals details about the Galaxy Note 10/10+ beta. In fact, Samsung can introduce the Galaxy S11, S11 + and S11e after this year's models. The Galaxy S11 will probably be made of metal and glass and will be shipped with Android 10. You can also add several small "pop up view" apps that float around the screen, although this starts getting confusing and messy with more than three or four apps.
