All you die-hard fans need not worry the 4th instalment of the franchise is still a top priority at the studio, so whatever happens, this will come first and is now set for a May 2021 release.

The studio remains focused on "John Wick 4", which it announced following the strong opening of "John Wick 3" in May.

John Wick star Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski will be amongst the manufacturers of the new movie, according to Due date.

Deadline is reporting that Len Wiseman of Underworld fame is all set to helm Ballerina, a female-fronted spinoff set in the universe of John Wick.

MA experiences first vaping-related death
MA has imposed a four-month ban on sales of all vaping products, including those used for marijuana, which is legal in the state. Vaping and electronic cigarettes gained in popularity over the last decade as an alternative to smoking tobacco products.

The actioner is now said to be on "a fast track" to production, with a script from Shay Hatten, who penned the most recent Wick flick, John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum.

Casting for the rest of Ballerina is now unknown but we are fairly certain that Angelica Huston will be reprising her role as The Director, who helps train young ballerinas into femme fatales (much like the Red Room from Marvel where Black Widow was trained). Whether Reeves will appear in the film is anyone's guess at this stage.

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum was described by NME's Alex Flood in a review as "a brutal, blood-soaked sequel". I have no idea how much ballet experience Wiseman has, but he probably got the gig based on the fact that he was one of the guys behind the female-driven action franchise Underworld, which starred Kate Beckinsale as a gun-toting vampire.

The movie will be directed by Len Wiseman, who previously made Live Free or Die Hard and Total Recall. He has most recently been engaged in directing series which range from Hawaii 5-0 to Lucifer, Sleepy Hollow, The Gifted and Swamp Thing.
