President Donald Trump says he's considering releasing the transcript of an April call he had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. House Democrats have subpoenaed every White House official who has been called to testify so far - except for former national security adviser John Bolton, who earlier on Thursday threatened to sue if served such a notice.

By distinction, she argued her family has instead built its success based on business, prior to and independent of coming to the White House. The White House instructed its officials not to comply with the investigation, which is looking at President Donald Trump's dealings with Ukraine.

Mulvaney will have to appear before the committees Friday, according to the report. Republicans in both Houses have variously blasted what they've deemed a partisan process, denied there was a quid pro quo attached to the disbursements of aid or suggested that such tradeoffs are typically part of worldwide diplomacy.

"At the end of the day I don't view the whistleblower- it shouldn't be a substantive part of the conversation because this a third party who wasn't on the call and wasn't privy to the conversation", she said.

One Democratic member of the intelligence panel, Washington Rep. Denny Heck, said Thursday that there is "already a mountain of evidence" in the probe. But with public, televised hearings starting on Wednesday, Republicans want someone in the arena who can mount a strong defense of Trump.

Republican Rep. Mark Meadows of North Carolina said Williams was asked about Pence's September visit to Warsaw, Poland, where he met Zelinskiy.

Kent also said that Fiona Hill, Trump's former top adviser on Russian Federation, revealed that she was concerned about U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland's ability to tell the truth about what he talked about with the president.

Members of the committees conducting the inquiry have said they want to see if Bolton will corroborate previous witnesses's testimony that he was alarmed at Trump asking a foreign government to get involved in domestic politics.

Democrats are also expected to try to use the hearings to show that Trump obstructed justice - the basis of another possible article of impeachment - by detailing how he has blocked some witnesses from appearing and otherwise refused to cooperate with their probe.

Investigators are wrapping up the private interviews as they prepare to start public hearings next week.

George Kent, a deputy assistant secretary at the State Department, revealed during his closed-door testimony before House impeachment investigators last month that there was a lot of lying going when it came to Ukraine.

They are trying to determine whether Trump froze $391 million USA in security assistance for Ukraine to put pressure on Zelensky to conduct the investigation, misusing U.S. foreign policy for his personal gain.
