There is still a long time to launch OnePLus 8 Pro, the phone of the world's popular smartphone company OnePlus, but its discussion has already started. The caption in this tweet (attached below) reads "Be a pro", which indicates that OnePlus 8 Pro will come with a super smooth 120Hz display panel. It also revealed that all its future devices will have such screens.

A well-known leaker called Max J. has tweeted to say that the next high-end OnePlus smartphone, i.e. OnePlus 8 Pro, would feature a massive upgrade. A 120Hz display refresh rate may give consumers extra incentive to get the OnePlus 8 Pro over the regular model. Earlier this year, Asus launched the Asus ROG Phone 2 with a 120Hz display and even Google went ahead and launched the Pixel 4 series with 120Hz displays.

Screen size will of course be different with the OnePlus 8 Pro said to get a larger 6.65-inch screen - this should be curved, although basis of the renders, it looks like both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will boast of curved screens.

In 2020 we will probably have many smartphones with 120Hz display, especially the flagships. If this turned out to be true, it will be a big differentiator compared to its rivals given that Samsung is planning to add 90Hz display on its upcoming Galaxy S11 series.

High-refresh rate displays are the latest craze in the smartphone world.
