Shackelford Tiger Woods is all smiles at Hero unlike some past years

Captain of Team USA and with 11 of his 12 players tuning up at his event in the Bahamas, Woods had the job of picking the first round twosomes in the 18-man field with one eye firmly on Royal Melbourne.
Woods stated that he's ready to listen to again from the tour about some specifics relating to his position as playing-captain.
His countless fans expected Woods to triumph even when he was not in the best shape but now that the 43-year-old is back to winning ways, expectations have only grown.
This week it's the Hero World Challenge. Successes at this event have kind of mirrored what I have done at Torey on west coast.
"I took some time off, did some things around the house, and that's about it", Woods said of his post-Zozo activity.
"Ever since I got through that, it's been back to the grind", Fowler stated. "And here I am now in front of you, as the Masters champion", said Woods, who has had to endure multiple back surgeries. Coupled with the goodwill generated by his 2019 Masters triumph, it's likely the 15-time major victor will receive his share of support from the Aussie galleries.
This week's Hero World Problem will probably be newlywed Rickie Fowler's first event for the reason that Tour Championship in August.
A fourth win in 2019 will also make it his best year in terms of golf.
"This is the 2019 Presidents Cup team, so enjoy, be a part of it". No, (it won't distract me). I remember going to Dubai for my very first time and seeing maybe two or three buildings in the skyline. It's a happy occasion, it's a joyful occasion, so it's not like my mind's going to wander.
Woods also said he is looking forward to the dual challenge in Australia next week.
The only pairing which met expectations was that of Patrick Reed and Presidents Cup first-timer Patrick Cantlay, the duo having played together in all three of editions of the Zurich Classic, the only teams event on the regular US PGA Tour. And the role's not easy.
"I feel really good about the game and been able to get some great matches in with J.T. and Tiger and Gary (Woodland) and some of the other guys in South Florida", he explained. Tiger Woods is player and captain, and in the charged setting of the intercontinental battle, that is going to be more than a handful for the legendary golfer.
Hero MotoCorp chairman Pawan Munjal, who will be working alongside Woods in restoration work of the affected islands, said: "Two of the islands were really, really devastated badly". So we've had a couple of long hitters and a couple of strong iron players take the tournament on this course.
"Every birdie counts for USD 500, every eagle for USD 1,000 and every ace gets USD 2,500. It is one of the hardest dinners you have to get into".
"The tournament purse is Dollars 3.5 million and the victor gets USD 1 million".
