Why OBJ would attend the national title game with a huge wad of fake money has yet to be explained.

It turns out that his idea of fun could be a very big problem for his beloved university.

LSU is looking into a celebratory "rain" of another kind - Odell Beckham, Jr., and whether Beckham passed out real U.S. currency to players after the game.

"Initial information suggested bills that were exchanged were novelty bills", a statement obtained by Sports Illustrated's Ross Dellenger said.

The first video shows him handing bills to star wide receiver Justin Jefferson after the game.

Mason Greenwood not ready for England call-up: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
That's got to be my focus but I know we've got the resources and we've got the backing if we need to go into the transfer market". Greenwood impressed in his first full season with the striker scoring nine goals in 26 games while demonstrating creative power.

Earlier in the week, Beckham sent every LSU player a pair of Beats wireless headphones to enjoy, which was cleared by the NCAA.

In a new statement, LSU doesn't respond to the Burrow comments, but acknowledges that the school is now investigating whether actual cash was also given to players. Information and footage reviewed since shows apparent cash may have also been given to LSU student-athletes.

LSU graduate transfer quarterback Joe Burrow, who has exhausted his college eligibility and is expected to be a top National Football League draft choice this year, said on a Barstool Sports podcast that it appeared to him Beckham was handing out actual cash.

This incident could be a violation of NCAA rules since players are not allowed to accept cash, according to NCAA bylaws. "We are working with our student-athletes, the NCAA and the SEC in order to rectify the situation".

"I'm not a student-athlete anymore, so I can say yeah", Burrow told the hosts. And now, a video hit Twitter showing Beckham confronting - and evidently spanking - an officer in the locker room.
