The Argentina worldwide beat Henry's tally on Sunday at Villa Park as he scored City's third and fifth goals in their 6-1 win. His hattrick would break another Premier League record making him the player with the most hattricks in the history of the league with 12 hattricks.

He smashed a rising shot goal from outside the box past Orjan Nyland in the 28th minute before adding a second just before the hour mark.

The Argentina international's treble made him the Premier League's record overseas scorer with 177 goals.

Aguero was the destroyer-in-chief for City this past weekend, when his hat-trick (and an assist) inspired the reigning Premier League champions to a 6-1 victory over relegation-threatened Villa.

The league's goalscoring record is held by Shearer, who netted 260 times during spells at Southampton, Blackburn and Newcastle.

In just three days, it reached the first forty of the airplay charts and debuted at number 13 on Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100. Last week - the first week of a month when Christmas songs didn't stifle the Hot 100 - " The Box " went to number 3.

The Argentina global broke the hat-trick record in the Premier League with his 12th treble since arriving from Atletico Madrid in July 2011 - moving one ahead of Shearer.

Aguero is City's top scorer in all competitions with his total of 249 tallying 82 more than his nearest rival Tony Book, who scored his goals in the 1930's and '40's.

Meanwhile, Guardiola insists Sergio Aguero will "die scoring goals" after his record-breaking hat-trick demolished Villa.

The former Barcelona boss has hailed the club for winning the title for the last two seasons but has already passed the baton to the Reds for this season.
