My first season at Madrid has been bad, Hazard

Hazard has endured a hard, injury-hit La Liga campaign since joining Madrid for €100 million last summer, making just nine league starts and scoring once.

However, translating that success to his new club has proved challenging for Hazard, who scored only once across 10 La Liga appearances before suffering an ankle injury last month that was likely to keep him out for the remainder of the season.

Eden Hazard has described his first season at Real Madrid as "bad" but insists he still has plenty of time to put things right at the Bernabeu. I will be judged on the second one. For me it is a great experience. "I still have four years of the contract, I hope to be in good shape".

"It's up to me to be in good shape next year".

At present, the Spanish campaign is on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak and Hazard is in isolation.

Spain now has a death toll of 3,647 from COVID-19 with a total of almost 50,000 cases reported and Hazard admits he's concerned about what's unfolding around the globe.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have pleaded on Instagram for their followers to stay home and help stop the spread of coronavirus. The film is about a family of elephants and their journey across the Kalahari Desert in Africa .

"I'm not saying that I can't catch it, but I'm inside the house", Hazard stated. "I'm working a little more".

The coronavirus crisis has forced the suspension of Euro 2020, with the tournament pushed back until June 2021.

Eden Hazard has spoken for the first time since undergoing surgery in Dallas to fix an ankle injury that is expected to leave him on the sidelines for two to three months.

"I had planned to play it".

"We'll all be a year older in 2021, which is a shame, but it'll allow me to be in form".

"But I also think that there are priorities in life that mean it had to be cancelled. It'll wait until next year".
