It has a thin 10mm bezel and a depth of 59mm, with 2,000 nits of brightness, a motion rate of MR240, and a 2% reflection rate using an anti-glare coating.

Still, perhaps that premium price point is down to the outdoorsy nature of the Terrace.

The Samsung Terrace, launched on Thursday, is a smart TV with all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a high-end Samsung QLED TV: Quantum HDR, Direct Full Array 16X local dimming, Quantum Dot color tech, and AI-enhanced 4K upscaling.

The Terrace also supports multiple voice services including Bixby, Amazon Alexa and the soon-to-launch Google Assistant. Consumers are using screens to work from home, exercise using online platform, stay in touch with loved ones, and engage with many other activities. With an IP55 rating, The Terrace is created to be durable enough to sit outside, with resistance against water and dust. It also comes with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity for if you want an external sound source.

The expansion into the outdoor entertainment space was made in a virtual presentation by the company that replaced its normal in-person line show for the press.

We've no word on pricing for the 55-inch version, but the 65-inch model is up for pre-order now for US$4,999.99, the 75-inch model comes in at $6,499.99, and the soundbar is priced at $1,199.99. However, the TV itself is also equipped with built-in woofers. Available at a 43-inch model, The Sero displays an optimized aspect ratio so users can enjoy their favorite content, apps, and social media on a bigger screen.
