The slanging match continued with Becker, a six-times grand slam champion and former world No.1, saying: 'Your amusing guy.how is it down under? "We should protect our families and loved ones and follow the guidelines but still don't like rats".

Kyrgios: "Rats? For holding someone accountable?"

Ivanisevic wrote: "Unfortunately, after two negative tests in the last 10 days, I have just found out that I tested positive for COVID-19". And you have a goose waving his arms around, imma say something'. "(He) can hit a volley, (but) obviously (he is) not the sharpest tool in the shed though". After seeing the video, Kyrgios reacted on his Instagram Story: "So I wake up and I see more controversial things happening all over the world, but one that stuck out for me was seeing Zverev again man, again, again, how selfish can you be?"

Becker conceded that his compatriot had "broken the quarantine rules and should be ashamed of himself" before again calling Kyrgios a rat and bizarrely telling him: "You're a amusing guy".

"Your amusing guy.how is it down under?"

The Aussie gave it back to the six-time Grand Slam victor saying that it's not a tennis match where he is competing with someone, reminding him these are times of Covid-19 pandemic. Respect all the guidelines?' "I really would like to see @NickKyrgios fulfill his potential and win a grandslam!"

It only said the two pilots were medically fit and experienced, while investigators say human error was behind the crash. He also pinpointed that the Civil Aviation Authority didn't issue show-cause notices to any pilot so far.

"He would be an incredible role model for for the youth of the world addressing the issues of equality, race and heritage. Man up buddy and deliver!" wrote Becker. "@atptour @ITF_Tennis", Becker replied.

Boris Becker and Nick Kyrgios have embarked on a war of words after Novak Djokovic's former coach labelled the Australian a "rat" for calling out his fellow professionals amid the coronavirus pandemic.

He replied: "Why are you now talking about tennis?" It has nothing to do with tennis?

The Adria Tour organised by Novak Djokovic, saw him and other players test positive for the novel coronavirus, leading to plenty of rage being directed at the World Number 1, who had not helped matters by being brazen about the timing of the tour.

Zverev said he and his team had tested negative but would self-isolate and undergo regular testing and apologised after he was filmed partying at a nightclub as part of the event.

"How about the dude who you are defending mans up and gives us some sort of explanation? Not another average management apology", tweeted the 25-year-old Australian.
