Dr Dre & Wife Nicole Young Split After 24 Years of Marriage

Music producer and rapper, Dr Dre's 24 years marriage to Nicole Young has crashed.

Young is seeking financial support from the music mogul after filing for divorce on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation.

Nicole, on the other hand, was previously married to Sedale Threatt, a retired National Basketball Association (NBA) player.

Dr. Dre and Nicole Young are heading straight out of their marriage.

Sources close to Nicole say she's never signed a prenup which means she's about to put the beats on Dre's massive cash stash that includes almost a billion in assets.

The Stones aren't the only musicians who have recently expressed a desire for Trump to stop using their music. Pop star Rihanna also spoke out that she did not want her music performed at a Trump rally in 2018.

For her part, Young, who is a lawyer by trade, is also seeking spousal support and is being represented by high-power celebrity divorce attorney Samantha Spector. In 1996, he left Death Row Records to establish his own label, Aftermath Entertainment.

The estranged couple Wednesday in May 1996 and share two children, son Truice, 23, and daughter Truly, 19.

Dr. Dre also has four children from previous relationships: daughters Tyra Young and La Tanya Danielle Young as well as sons Marcel and Curtis.

They made their last public appearance as a couple at the Tom Ford fashion show with their daughter Truly in February this year.

In 2019, Dr. Dre's net worth was estimated at $800 million by Forbes, a figure that was bolstered in recent years by the sale of Beats by Dre to Apple for over $3 billion.
