China has successfully launched its first Mars exploration mission.

Space exploration has taken on symbolic significance in the U.S.

The CNSA said the campaign is expected to promote the popularization of space knowledge and attract the public's attention to the space industry.

Ouyang Ziyuan, an academic with the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) and the chief scientist of China's lunar probe project, explained the country's Mars exploration mission Tianwen-1 during a recent forum hosted by the CAS.

During routine survey operations for hazardous asteroids, NASA's asteroid camera has spotted China's Tianwen-1 Mars spacecraft speeding away from the Earth.

Perseverance will discover Mars for indicators of historical life, and accumulate rock and soil samples for attainable return to Earth, whereas Ingenuity will assist NASA to find doubtlessly helpful analysis websites on the planet, and in addition collect information that can allow the area company to create new routes for future Mars rovers to comply with.

NASA declared on July 22 that the mission had passed its flight readiness review, which features a preparedeness evaluation of the spacecraft, rocket, treatments and personnel. Throughout a Martian year, its goal is to obtain a complete photo of the climate of Mars.

In 2011, China attempted to get a closer look at Mars by sending a probe into space along with Russia's Phobos-Grunt mission.

The mission was dubbed Tianwen-1 ("Questions to Heaven") in a nod to a classical Chinese poem that has verses about the cosmos.

The American rover is the biggest, heaviest, most advanced vehicle sent to Mars by Nasa.
