Here's everything New Horizons players can look forward to in the 1.4.0 update - even the smaller stuff!

New Horizons hosts special Fireworks Shows, special events which decorate the night's sky with custom fireworks. This event will take place every Sunday throughout August starting at 7 p.m. your island time and ending at 12 a.m. You can participate in Redd's Raffle to potentially win sparklers and other prizes. You still have a chance to get all four of Isabelle's boppers.

In what we decided was the best display of artistry in its category (and yes, there are enough competitors in Animal Crossing penis themed fireworks to warrant a best in show), this user opted for just one design pattern and one colour but used effective timing to really give their show some flare.

Luna the tapir from Animal Crossing: New Leaf returns, along with the concept of dream islands.

Now anytime players want to get rid of the annoying HUD while using the in-game camera all they have to do is click in the right Joy-Con thumbstick.

A new feature allows you to sleep in a bed and meet Luna. With Luna's help, you can visit different islands all over the world, talk to other players, and get ideas for your own terraforming efforts.

However, there's also some big changes behind the scenes, with Nintendo enabling a new save and island backup service.

Can wear a wetsuit and swim in the dream.

The King Tut mask is one of the new items that's available following the latest update to the game.

Can call Rescue Services.

"She will grant those who share their island a "Dream Address" which players can exchange and use to visit each other's island in a dream".

To make the King Tut mask in ACNH you will need the DIY recipe.

The King Tut Mask requires five gold nuggets to craft and while wearing it, causes players to randomly trip and fall. However, the Version 1.4.0 patch notes do reveal that a save transfer feature is planned for sometime later this year.

"If your Nintendo Switch system is lost or damaged, you may be able to recover your island paradise as long as you've enabled island backup".
