GM’s latest promo video for the GMC Hummer reveals its “coming this fall.”

Instead of bringing back HUMMER as a standalone brand, GM opted to make it a model line sold under GMC.
GM originally planned to debut the rebooted HUMMER in May, but postponed the event due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Jeep Wrangler freedom panels have sparked a whole new generation of open roof 4WD vehicles, including the 2021 Bronco.
General Motors released a video teaser showing the profiles of two new Hummer models. I'd have to say it's the insane 1,000 horsepower.
The minute-long spot, narrated by three-time National Basketball Association champion LeBron James, mentions a bunch of stuff about the Hummer we already know: It's going to make 1000 horsepower at 11,500 lb-ft of wheel torque (motor torque multiplied by gearing), with an estimated 0-60 time of three seconds flat. In this latest video, GMC reveals the silhouette of a Hummer SUV.
The EV will also feature an "Adrenaline Mode" which can be expected to offer similar performance-enhancing functionality to Tesla's "Ludicrous Mode", and a "Crab Mode" which will likely involve some sort of extreme four-wheel steering. New information was shared for the vehicle, the official launch date of which is not yet known.
The clip shows us the shape of the aggressive, off-road-looking SUT and SUV bodies. It also shares a stark similarity to the Toyota FJ Cruiser. Probably the design of the vehicle was deliberately compared to the Hummer H2.
GMC vice president Duncan Aldred said: "GMC builds premium and capable trucks and SUVs".
The teaser image above was released in January and shows a new take on the signature Hummer grille.
The HUMMER EV features a entrance trunk storage compartment with an electric motor tucked beneath it. We hope that both vehicles come in at a reasonable price, get made on schedule, and deliver on lofty stated stats and features.
