Taylor Swift will be changing the design of her album merchandise after being accused of stealing the logo from a black woman. Which was actually a merch logo from a Black designer.

"This morning, it came to my attention that musician [Taylor Swift] is selling merchandise to go along with her new album folklore". Rasool says she got immediate word that the word "The" would be removed from all the merch, and that it would be marketed just as "Folklore", the same name as the album itself.

The statement continued, "In good faith, we honoured her request and immediately notified everyone who had ordered merchandise with the word "the" preceding "folklore album" that they will now receive their order with the design change".

"Taylor, for her part, took swift action (had to), issuing a statement to Good Morning America saying they'd stopped production on merchandise displaying "the folklore", rather than 'folklore". I am sharing my story to bring light to the trend of large companies/celebrities copying the work of small minority-owned business owners.

While many songs on the surprise album were first slated as breakup anthems, Swift is known for her ability to innately weave hidden meanings throughout various aspects of her songwriting - which is why it's not hard to assume that within folklore's tracklist lies some details about her relationship with Alwyn. "So i see i went viral while i didn't have my phone [crying face emoji]", she tweeted.

"I recognize that she has been a solid advocate for ladies defending their innovative legal rights, so it was superior to see her group is on the exact web page". We are in conversation with her team about the necessary next steps to make this situation right.

"I think there was a lot of damage to my brand for me speaking out".

The speculation began when Swift announced she would be releasing a not-yet-heard bonus song "The Lakes", which is only available to purchase on taylorswift.com via a physical copy.
