The quick getaway trip holds sentimental value for their Cambridges since it's a vacation spot where a young Prince William and Prince Harry would visit with their parents as young boys.

The ongoing pandemic hasn't stopped the Cambridges from enjoying a family summer vacation!

In a recent interview with ET Canada, royal expert Katie Nicholl came forth revealing that Prince Harry "felt like a third wheel" when he carried out official engagements with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Prince Harry grew apart from his brother Prince William as the dynamic between the royal brothers changed drastically after their respective marriages.

The family chose to stay within the United Kingdom amid the global health crisis, and the growing challenge of foreign travel.

An onlooker said: "William and Kate were riding their bicycles, having a laugh". I did do a double-take.

William and Kate also visited the islands in 2016 and took a tour around the Tresco Abbey Garden.

He continued, "That was early on in the courtship, that was".

'I wrapped them. They were really nice.

"Basically we're a good team tag session, I come in with the children and try and get them to do something and Catherine comes in when frankly everything has gone wrong", he explained.

"I think particularly now, as a parent, it starts to make you look a bit more to the future at what kind of world we are going to hand over to the next generation". "Honestly, I have no idea why I bought her a pair of binoculars".
