Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.1 Launches as First Major Post-Launch Update

Many players reported encountering a lot of bugs and there were complaints about the game's performance, particularly on current-gen consoles. The patch scheduled for February, update 1.2, may polish some of the rougher edges of the game, but it's unlikely we'll see all the cut content and missing or broken systems added into the game. The work will continue in patch 1.2 and other upcoming updates. The update weighs about 6-9 GB on Steam, 16 GB on consoles, and 1.1 GB on GOG. "That's why GOG GALAXY needs roughly 70GB of free space for the patch to successfully update".

In more practical terms, we've memory usage improvements, crash fixes, and a load of quest and save bugs getting addressed. On Xbox One and PS4 consoles, the patch optimises crowds and memory usage.
