The device is powered by Intel's 11th-generation Tiger Lake chips, namely the Core i3-1115G4, Core i5-1135G7, and Core i7-1165G7.

The aforementioned $899 entry-level configuration, by the way, packs 8 gigs of memory, compared to the modest 4GB RAM count of the cheapest Surface Pro 7 version, with 16 and 32 gig options also set to go on sale later this week (through the appropriate channels). You have a 2-in-1 design with a 12.3-inch (2736 x 1824-pixel) PixelSense display. In comparison, the original Surface Pro 7 boasted 10.5 hours from a single charge.

Talking about the form factor and design, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus hasn't made a lot of cosmetic changes but the internals has been overhauled.

Two more deaths reported at Stradbally nursing home
COVID-19 vaccines were due to get underway in the nursing home next week but have now been postponed due to the outbreak. For the staff who work tirelessly and develop close relationships with residents who they have grown to love.

Microsoft says this new Surface Pro 7 Plus keeps the same form factor as the standard Pro 7 but focuses on the inside of the device to host all the changes. However, the company will show off a refresh of the Surface Pro 7 during this year's virtual conference.

For instance, the display in Surface Pro 7+ for Business is now thinner (not the bezels, we're talking depth).

The Surface Pro 7+ has a removable SSD which Redmond said is meant for data retention, while also supporting the privacy as well as security needs of businesses. The WiFi variant has a microSD card reader, while the LTE variant has a SIM card slot. Microsoft's new 2-in-1 hybrid also provides buyers with the opportunity of built-in LTE. The Wi-Fi variant of the laptop comes with up to 1TB removable SSD storage whereas the LTE variant comes with up to 256GB removable SSD. The front and rear cameras have been upgraded with Full HD 1080p video, while there is Dolby Atmos-enhanced audio and far-field microphones too. The laptop will be available in two different colours for the users, namely Matte Black, and Platinum. Buyers in select markets across Asia, Europe and North America can order today for shipping starting from the end of the week.
