Ottman Azaitar is not only off of tomorrow night's UFC 257 card, he has also been cut from the promotion altogether. Arman Tsarukyan will now be taking Azaitar's place.

"He and his team cut their wristbands off and got them to people on the outside, one guy", White said.

But ahead of Saturday's grand finale, UFC 257, security officials chased an individual who "shimmied" across four balconies at the 5-star W Hotel, left a mysterious bag in a room, and then tried to escape.

"He's no longer a UFC fighter". "This guy got inside the bubble, went in through a room, shimmied down four balconies, went in through (Azaitar's) balcony, and dropped off a bag of we don't know what".

He's gone, he's no longer a UFC fighter. "We got everything on camera, we saw the whole thing, and how it all went down, pulled his fight and cut him".

We're reaching out to Ottman's camp for comment.

A few hours after he was sacked, the Moroccan fighter shared a verse from the Quran on his Instagram story: "Perhaps you hate something and it is good for you, and perhaps you love something and it is bad for you".

Unsurprisingly, this development generated some interesting reactions from the MMA community, including many of Azaitar's fellow fighters.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - SEPTEMBER 12: Ottman Azaitar of Germany celebrates after his victory over Khama Worthy in a lightweight fight during the UFC Fight Night event at UFC APEX on September 12, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Since the start of his professional MMA career, Azaitar has never lost.

It's very unfortunate that it's come to this as Azaitar was an exciting undefeated record with a 13-0 record who had finished 12 of his opponents inside the distance, with the vast majority of them coming via his heavy-handed striking.

Considering the excitement that Azaitar has expressed when he first joined the UFC, his dismissal could significantly affect his professional plans.
