Alberta health officials are reporting 127 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, as well as 116 new variant cases.

New daily infection counts have been in the 100s since June 7, with the exception of 313 cases found on June 9.

There are now 221 people in hospital, with 49 of those patients being treated in intensive care. Thanks to the diligence of Albertans and the decision of 2.7 million folks to get vaccinated, we are now just two weeks away from getting our lives back to normal. The testing positivity rate is at approximately 2.2%. This includes 58 individuals in intensive care.

PM called Matt Hancock 'f------ hopeless' in text to Dominic Cummings
Yet it is clear that the PM had next to no confidence in his Health Secretary from as long ago as March 2020. At the end of his blogpost, Mr Cummings listed a "few simple questions" to ask Mr Johnson.

There have been 231,132 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Alberta over the course of the pandemic, with 226,513 now recovered.

Kenney has said Alberta needs 70 per cent of those eligible for vaccination to receive at least one dose in order to safely lift all restrictions.

Those who received their first dose of the vaccine out of province is also asked to register it with AHS on a new provincial portal.
